Schön langsam beginne ich zu zweifeln ob ich alles richtig gemacht habe!
Ich habe City Navigator NT+ v8 von der DVD installiert.
Dann die aktuelle Version von MapSource 6.9.1 installiert.
Die Ardia Route CD in den PC und die installiert ohne Freischaltung.
MapSource gestartet und schon kam eine elends lange Felhlermeldung.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I will be happy to help you out with this. The MPL_MAPDIRECTORY error means that the MapSource program is having a problem accessing a map image file. This can be resolved one of two ways depending on the particular MapSource mapping software you have.
If you have one of the MapSource programs with an Install Wizard, go to your START menu, then to PROGRAMS/MAPSOURCE/INSTALL WIZARD (the name of this wizard will be specific to the particular program you are using such as NA City Navigator, NA City Select, MetroGuide USA or the like). The wizard will bring up a box offering you the option to MODIFY, REPAIR or REMOVE the program. Select REPAIR and follow the prompts. Make sure you have the necessary cd rom in the cd rom drive.
If you do not have a MapSource program that offers the Install Wizard, the only way to repair the program is to do an uninstall/reinstall of the MapSource program. I am including the steps below on how this can be done for your convenience.
1. Go to the start menu in windows
2. Select the settings and then select the control panel.
3. In the control panel double click on the icon for ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
4. Select MapSource in the uninstall window. The software will ask to if you wish to uninstall all the components, answer YES to this option.
5. Reinstall the software. It will show the destination folder, if the setting is anything other than c: \Garmin, click on the browse option and type it in. You should get the message that "This folder does not exist" but the option to create it will follow. Select OK.
6. Reboot after finishing your installation allowing the software to rest in the destination folder.
7. After you reinstall, I recommend that you upgrade your operating software to the latest version of the MapSource operating system.
Following are the steps to update MapSource on your computer as well as the link to the GARMIN download site:

Click on the blue bar titled MAPPING PROGRAMS. Select MapSource 6.9.1. Please click on the word MapSource and you will be taken to a Download page.
The Download page will have the word download on the screen. Once you click on this it will begin trying to download the file. Please save it to the DESKTOP. Once you have completed downloading the upgrade you will need to run the program.
Please make sure you have closed out the MapSource program. If it is running the update will not work correctly.
The file should be on your desktop as MapSource_691.exe. Then please double-click on the file name of MapSource_691.exe and the program will begin to install on to your computer.
Once it is completed you can go back and check by going into MapSource and then click on the help and then the about MapSource.
** NOTE... to check the version of Map Source you are running or to verify the update was complete...in Map Source, click on HELP and ABOUT MAP SOURCE, this will display the version below the Map Source title. **

Deinstall von MapSource und Adria neu drauf – leider nicht.
Reparieren (mit installiertem MapSource und ohne MapSource) versucht leider wieder kein Erfolg.
Nach der Reparatur mit MapSource drauf lief MapSource mit der Europa Karte.
Wenn ich auf die Adria Karte gehe kommt der ganze Käse mit der Fehlermeldung wieder!
Liegt es vielleicht daran, dass sie noch nicht Freigeschalten ist?
Wenn ich auf Freischalten klicke kommt kurz vor der Freischaltung wieder diese Fehlermeldung.
Und wenn der Tag schon besch…. ist noch als Zugabe folgendes:
Dann wollte ich mit MapSource mit der EU-Karte mal nach diesem Ort in Österreich suchen: PLZ 2801, Hauptstrasse 6 –LEIDER KEINE Hauptstrasse gefunden!

Findet Ihr diese Strasse auf dem PC mit MapSource?
