ab sofort ist eine neue Version 1.27.6 des PDA - Viewers Russa für Vektorkarten erhältlich. Die deutsche Sprachanpassung kann von meiner Homepage geladen werden:

Wer Karten mit viele kleinen IMG-Dateien (<500KB) verwenden will, sollte diese in das Russa-Format konvertieren und zu grösser Dateien zusammen fassen. Hierzu kann das VBScrip von meiner Homepage verwendet werden:

Diese beschleunigt das Öffnen der Kartenauswahl. Der neue gut aussehende baumartige Dialog hat den Nachteil das er bei mehr als einigen hundert Dateien relativ langsam wird. Hintergrund ist die dazugehörige langsame Betriebssystemfunktion. Des Weiteren ist das Problem mit den extrem grossen Indexen immer noch nicht vollständig geklärt. Grösstes Problem dabei ist, den Fehler auf einer Testumgebung zu simulieren.
